  • The HPV vaccine may be given if you haven't received it already

  • Breast Care
  • Annual Flu shot

Reasons for your annual well women exam in your 50s

  • You still need regular exams after menopause, but may not need a pap smear - consult your provider. 
  • Sexual dysfunction & changes
  • Breast care
  • Annual flu shot
  • Shingles shot
  • The average age for menopause is 51

Reasons for your annual well women exam in your 60s

  • Pap smears every 5 years if there have been no previous issues
  • Discuss the effects of natural aging and possible hormone replacement therapy
  • Bone density testing for Osteoporosis
  • Sexual Dysfunction & changes
  • Breast care
  • Annual Flu shot or other vaccinations

The Clarinda Medical Associate’s Clinic is a full-service medical clinic inside CRHC that can also provide many well-women services, in conjunction with our Women’s Health provider in our Specialty Clinic, such as:
