Kirsten (Ritchie) Hamilton is a southwest Iowa Native who started her practice at CRHC in 2022. She currently sees women's health and family practice patients at Villisca Family Health Center and CRHC's Specialty clinic.
She started her medical career as an RN and received her education at North Central Missouri College- Maryville campus in 2011. Following graduation, she moved to Des Moines with her husband where she started her career working on a med/surg/urology floor. Her family moved to Lenox, Iowa in 2012. For the past 10+ years, she has commuted and worked in women’s health and obstetrics at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. During her time there she received multiple nursing award nominations and helped establish the Obstetric Emergency Department.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 from Northwest Missouri State University and her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from Herzing University in Madison, Wisconsin.
Kirsten completed the majority of her clinical time for her master’s degree in Clarinda at CRHC. She is excited to return to the community and continue serving its population. Kirsten resides on a small acreage East of Lenox with her husband, Bryan Hamilton, two children, Avery and Reid, and their golden retriever “Goose”. She is looking forward to bringing gynecology and women's health services to southwest Iowa. “ I want to empower women to care for their bodies and feel their best throughout all ages and development.”
