Kenda is a Nebraska native, hailing from the small town of Auburn, NE. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Medicine in May of 2018. She spent three years studying Spanish at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln in order to get her prerequisites for physical therapy school.
Kenda enjoys working with patients of all ages, from birth to geriatrics, and she is also trained in women’s and men’s pelvic floor therapy. This means she can treat conditions like incontinence and pelvic pain, as well as work with ante-partum and post-partum patients. Kenda frequently utilizes functional dry needling as a manual therapy tool and is certified in Kineticore Level 1 and Level 2 dry needling. She also has her Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification, allowing her to work closely with all patient types to help them achieve their strength goals. When not at work, Kenda enjoys spending time reading, walking her dogs, and converting all Iowa Hawkeye fans to Huskers.
