Volunteer at CRHC
Clarinda Regional Health Center provides exceptional care to our patients, their families, the community, and the region. CRHC Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the mission. Whatever your interest or the amount of time you have to devote, there is a place for you as a Clarinda Regional Health Center volunteer. Time commitments vary depending on your chosen area; some positions require a regular schedule, others are flexible, even one-time events.
No previous experience is needed. A CRHC team member will provide all orientation and training.
If you are interested in being a CRHC Volunteer or learning more about volunteer opportunities, please contact:
Pat Davison, Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com or 712-542-8230.
Representatives greet and welcome our patients and visitors to the facility. Representative’s help clients navigate to their destination by escorting them to the various departments. To be a Representative it is important to have great customer service skills and a welcoming smile. Contact Pat Davison at 712-542-8320.
Fresh Eats Drivers
Clarinda Regional Health Center needs volunteers for our local CRHC Fresh Eats routes. The Fresh Eats program offers clients nutritious hot meals. Delivery days are Monday thru Friday at 11:00am. Deliveries take approximately 20-30 mins. Volunteers provide their own vehicle and must have a valid driver’s license. The volunteer is given a route to be delivered the same day of the week. No deliveries on holidays or declared school snow days. Contact Pat Davison if interested at 712-542-8320.
Volunteens is a special volunteer assignment for High School students. The five-week summer program allows students to assist and job shadow specific CRHC departments. Volunteens gain a better understanding of a possible career choice and the healthcare team receives some great assistance from these hard-workers! Volunteens must work with their assigned department one day per week for three hours during the 5-week program. This volunteer opportunity is only available for up to 15 students each summer. Volunteers are required to successfully complete an application, a current copy of grades, three references, and proof of up-to-date immunizations.
Other CRHC Volunteer Opportunities
CRHC hosts multiple events, services, and activities which would not be possible without volunteer assistance. Contact Pat at 712.542.8320 for information on volunteer opportunities for the Clarinda Community Health Fair, post-surgery care, school job shadowing, event set-up & tear-down, clerical assistances, etc.
