Volunteer at CRHC

Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) provides exceptional care to our patients, their families, the community, and the region. CRHC Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the mission. Whatever your interest or the amount of time you have to devote, there is a place for you as a Clarinda Regional Health Center volunteer. Time commitments vary depending on your chosen area; some positions require a regular schedule, others are flexible, even one-time events.

No previous experience is needed. A CRHC or PEC team member will provide all orientation and training. You can volunteer in several places throughout the hospital, such as:

► Patient Navigators:  A smiling face for patients and visitors as they walk through the front door and will help escort them to their destinations as needed. Sign up here!

► Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC):  Our Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) partners patients and family members with hospital staff to improve the quality of care at Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC). Learn more about what PFAC members do and how to become one. Sign up here!

►  Fresh Eats Drivers:  Delivery days are Monday thru Friday at 11:00am. Deliveries take approximately 30-45 mins. Volunteers provide their own vehicle and must have a valid driver’s license. The volunteer is given one route to be delivered the same day of the week. Sign up here!

►  Volunteens:  a special volunteer assignment for High School students. The five-week summer program allows students to assist and job shadow specific CRHC departments. Volunteers are required to successfully complete an application, a current copy of grades, three references, and proof of up-to-date immunizations. Sign up here!  | View the Brochure

►  PEC Volunteer:  The Partners in Exceptional Care are actively seeking community minded individuals to be a member of PEC and to help volunteer as needed in our community and facility. CRHC and our foundation hosts events, services, and other activities and we’re always looking for volunteers.  Sign up here!

► Gift Shop Volunteers:  will be inside the gift shop and areas assigned for gift shop functions, greeting customers and completing sales on the point-of-sales system. Must be able to follow directions, have good interpersonal/communication skills; able to operate designated equipment as specified; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
