The goal of our PEC committees is to strengthen community outreach and find different ways to positively impact CRHC and while furthering their mission and goals. As a member of PEC we hope to see active participation and presence in one or more of our committees. Use your voice to help fundraise for new equipment, keep our facility beautiful, spread the word of PEC or plan various events throughout the year! If you have a green thumb, a love of being outdoors or gardening, this committee could use your skills! This is a seasonal opportunity April through October. Help us bring some beauty to the outdoor spaces located around CRHC. This includes selecting flowers and plants, planting them and occasional watering to keep them flourishing for all patients and staff to enjoy!
If you’re organized, goal driven and enjoy fundraising, this committee is for you! This committee will be instrumental in helping secure funding for items needed at CRHC such as new equipment by seeking out and identifying potential donors. This committee will have a huge impact on CRHC by means of improving technology and patient experience.
If you enjoy working independently, staging merchandise, and have an eye for decorating, this committee would love your help! This committee would assist in organizing, photographing, and marking seasonal retail as well as getting displays ready for sales in the gift shop. It does not involve working in the gift shop, but if that interests you as well, please sign up to be a volunteer!
If you are an avid golfer or enjoy planning events, we need your input! Join our committee to help plan, organize and execute a fun, annual event that supports PEC and CRHC. This committee would be responsible for encouraging participation, securing auction or donation items, and helping set up and run a smooth tournament the day of. If you are sociable and love talking to people, we have the perfect committee for you! We’re looking for outgoing people to conduct welcome phone calls, deliver PEC Membership packets and encourage involvement in our PEC organization!
If throwing parties and planning events is a passion of yours, we want you on this committee! This committee would meet for many months prior to the event, planning and choosing decorations, dinner options, determining the schedule of events for the night, lining up entertainment, setting up the event and more. This is a very hands-on committee that needs attention to detail.
If making a difference for young adults in our community is something that is important to you, we’d love to see your input affect decisions on our scholarship committee. Being involved in reviewing applications, voicing opinions, selecting an applicant and presenting scholarship awards in May would also be an opportunity in this committee.
If you want to make a large and direct impact on the livelihood of children in our community, this committee needs your help! This program helps address the issue of food insecurity in children outside of normal school days during the school year. This committee would help lend some muscle in the process of bagging and delivering shelf stable food to Clarinda elementary and middle schools to be distributed to qualifying children.
