Katie Burns was born and raised in Clarinda, graduating from Clarinda High School. Katie attended Southwestern Community College for her ADN, Registered Nursing Degree. Katie has been an employee of Clarinda Regional Health Center since 2011 working in the Physicians Clinic and Med-Surg Unit. She went on to attend Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska, to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated in December 2022 and began practicing at Clarinda Regional Health Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner in January 2023. She is very passionate about primary care and health care prevention strategies.
Katie and her husband, Cody, have three children. She continues to reside in Clarinda. In her free time she enjoys golfing, traveling, maintaining an active lifestyle and spending time with her family. Katie looks forward to building a primary care practice at Clarinda Medical Associates.
