Julie grew up in Red Oak, Iowa and graduated with a degree in Rehabilitative Studies in 2018 and continued with school to pursue her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE. She joined the therapy team at CRHC with experience working in school-based settings, hand therapy clinics, skilled nursing facilities and rural inpatient and outpatient therapy. Julie is certified in Comprehensive Lymphedema Management and enjoys working with patients of all ages, from birth to geriatrics.
Julie enjoys many aspects of occupational therapy and the diversity it lends to patients with all different types of needs. She specifically enjoys treating Lymphedema, outpatient orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation for the upper extremity and hand, as well as helping the aging population age in place with strengthening and education on use of adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment for their home.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors with her two dogs (Zeus and Chief) and working towards visiting all 63 National Parks in the United States!
