Emily grew up in Tabor, so she is a native of southwest Iowa. She attended Iowa State University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University. Emily enjoys working with a variety of patient types including outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, post-surgical rehabilitation, pediatrics and neurological rehabilitation. She has obtained additional certifications in LSVT Big-- a program geared towards delaying the symptoms of Parkinsons Disease, Myopain Seminars Level 1 Functional Dry Needling, and Vestibular rehabilitation and Concussion management. Emily also serves as the Director of Therapy at CRHC and oversees the daily operations of the Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Center at CRHC. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending Iowa State sporting events (Go Cyclones), and spending time with her friends and family.
