Katie joined Clarinda Mental Health Center's team of medical providers in April of 2021. She went to high school in Farragut and received her Bachelor's Degree from Iowa State University in Psychology and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Counseling at Doane University in Lincoln, Nebraska. Katie went into the mental health field because she always wanted to help others, by working alongside them while they find ways to improve their lives. Her patients have a significant impact on her, so she's always striving to find ways to be a better therapist. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy playing outside, crafting, boating, and swimming together.
