Abbey is a native of Red Oak, Iowa. She graduated from the College of Saint Mary with her Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2020 as well as her Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science degree in 2019. Before working at Clarinda Regional Health Center, Abbey gained clinical experience working with various individuals in rural inpatient and outpatient settings. Abbey enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan to promote and maximize independence with daily life skills.
Abbey recently became an SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Trained Feeding Therapist to assist parents with difficult eaters between the ages of 18 months and 8 years. In her free time, Abbey loves spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and traveling.
