Dr. Matt Maslonka, a native of Fremont Nebraska, joined Nebraska Pulmonary Specialties on August 24, 2020. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center before completing his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Maslonka continued his training with a Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship at Wake Forest University, located in Winston-Salem North Carolina.
During fellowship, Dr. Maslonka became interested in lung cancer with a focus on bronchoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of lung lesions in addition to providing a full spectrum of care for all aspects of pulmonary and sleep disorders. He remains active in ICU quality improvement, and continued outpatient management of recovered patients. He is an advocate for patient education and joint decision making in all of the conditions he treats, and is passionate about creating strong physician-patient relationships.
