Who We Are
The Partners in Exceptional Care is a combination of two amazing groups, the Clarinda Regional Health Center Auxiliary which started in 1964 and the Clarinda Medical Foundation which started in 1999.
We are happy to launch the new combined organization and wanted to share this exciting news. The new board has been busy amending the Medical Foundation’s Articles of Incorporation and have created a new set of bylaws specific to this group.
The PEC is a not-for-profit, tax exempt corporation organized under the Federal Tax Code as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. It is an excellent vehicle for friends to support CRHC and its related programs.
Our Inaugural Board of Directors:
- President: Randy Walters
- Vice President: Melissa Garner
- Secretary: Shari Greenwood
- Treasurer: Judy Clark
- Board Member: Molly Gilmore
- Board Member: Deb Carlson
- Board Member: Tonja Downey
These individuals will serve in the following roles until the April 2020 elections. If you are interested in running for office, please contact Tammie Driftmier at 712-542-6707.
What We Do
PEC exists to build support and to secure charitable giving resources for CRHC. Funds donated to the Partners in Exceptional Care are used to enhance health care services offered by CRHC. Past gifts have helped fund such things as a new ambulance and a mobile critical care respirator.
How You Can Help
If you are interested in becoming a member of PEC, please reach out to us! We are actively looking for progressive and community centered individuals to help us continue the charitable efforts the foundation have always provided. We are always striving to improve quality of services and continue providing exceptional care to patients.
