Victor Lee has been named Interim Chief Executive Officer of Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, IA, effective January 2, 2018.
“Victor has a wealth of experience, including long term service to a hospital similar in size to Clarinda Regional Health Center. His knowledge of healthcare and hospital management will be very beneficial as CRHC hires a permanent CEO,” said Dale McAllister, Chairman of Clarinda Regional Health Center’s Board of Trustees.
Lee most recently served as CEO of Boone County Health Center in Albion, Neb. Under his 17 years of award-winning leadership, BCHC saw tremendous growth, while managing to operate debt free for the past nine years. He retired from BCHC June 30, 2017.
Mr. Lee is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He dedicated his academic career to management and administration practices; he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Dakota and a master’s in health administration from the University of Colorado at Denver.
“Those served by Clarinda Regional Health Center will benefit from the sound judgment Vic brings to this interim position. He will provide stability and leadership as we fill this important role for the community,” said Carol Friesen, Vice President Health System Services for Bryan Health. Bryan Health provides administrative resources to CRHC through a management agreement.
In his interim role, Lee will be responsible for all operations of the medical center, including financial, quality and growth performance, as well as oversight of physician, community and Board relations.
