Clarinda Regional Health Center provides an array of continuing education courses that are available to the public. Community education programs are available upon request.
Continuing education courses offered at CRHC include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)**Skills exams available
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Heartsaver CPR AED/First Aid **Skills exams available
- Pediatric CPR AED/ First Aid **Skills exams available
- Nursing education courses
- EMS education courses
All life support classes are taught by an American Heart Association Certified Instructor.
Iowa Board of Nursing Provider
CRHC is a recognized Iowa Board of Nursing Provider (#372) and can offer continuing education to Iowa’s nurses. IBON providers may approve CE offerings planned in accordance with 655 Iowa Administrative Code, Chapter 5. CRHC may also co-sponsor another organization’s nursing education offerings.
Education Department Staffing
Education Coordinator, Jenny Wagoner, MSEd, completed her undergraduate program at Northwest Missouri State University in Corporate Wellness/Recreation Management and received her Master’s Degree in Health Science & Physical Education from Northwest Missouri State University.
