Nothwehr and Nordyke promoted at the Clarinda Regional Health Center

Clarinda, IA | (October 26, 2018)

Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) CEO Chuck Nordyke has announced two long-time hospital employees have been promoted to new managerial positions. Nordyke says, “Lara Nothwehr has been named as the new Clarinda Medical Associates Clinic Manager and Lori Nordyke has been named Specialty Clinic Manager.” Nordyke goes on to say, “These two women have demonstrated an amazing ability to Advance Exceptional Care to our patients for many years and I am pleased they have accepted these new responsibilities.”

Lara Nothwehr began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2000 following her graduation from Southwestern Community College. In 2006 she moved into a nursing supervisor position, reporting directly to the Director of Nursing. Nothwehr eventually was named Assistant Director of Nursing and has served in various other capacities leading up to being named CMA Clinic Manager.

Nothwehr says, “I have worked at CRHC for 18 years and this organization and my co-workers are my second family.  I am looking forward to working with the team as Clinic Manager to provide excellent, progressive quality care to our patients.”  She adds, “I enjoy knowing and serving the members of this community and making a positive impact on their life.”

She and her husband Todd live on a farm near Clarinda and have 3 children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as gardening, crocheting and bowling.

Lori Nordyke came to CRHC in 1995 as an Emergency Medical Technician.  Two years later she accepted a full time Registered Nurse position. As an RN, Nordyke has worked in many environments, including working the floor and in the Specialty Clinic. She also is a certified Chemotherapy Nurse. She says, “I am looking forward to continuing to be a part of this great organization.”

Nordyke and her husband Aaron have two children and they live in rural Clarinda.  In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities, especially camping and gardening. She is also an avid reader.
