Cris Morrow, ARNP, Ph.D
Cris L. Morrow ARNP, PhD is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner working in the Emergency Department. She has worked in health care for over 32 years, originally starting out as an Emergency Medical Technician. She worked as a Registered Nurse in various setting for 6 years prior to becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 1995. She then worked in rural family practice clinics in Utah for 9 years. In 2004 she moved to Iowa to join Clarinda Regional Health Center’s healthcare team and began specializing in emergency medicine.
Cris says she loves both emergency medicine and living in Iowa. “I really enjoy helping patients and their families by trying to make some of their worst days in life a little more positive.” Cris, her spouse and her daughter are all locally involved in health care and helping people. When not at work she enjoys boating on her Pontoon, playing board games, and hanging with her family including her three dogs, Shadow, Zoe and Tavinter. Her newest ambition is to become a certified firefighter and she is currently volunteering on the Coin Fire and Rescue Department.
