Occupational Therapy

Clarinda Regional Health Center offers Occupational Therapy for patients needing to regain health and function from physical, cognitive or emotional impairments. Occupational therapy helps patients overcome or adapt to physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities, developmental or learning disorders or other disorders or conditions. Occupational therapy helps patients develop, improve and in many cases restore skills of daily living or work activities.

Sue Smith, OTR/L, CLT, received her Occupational Therapy degree from Creighton University. Sue is certified in Lymphedema Therapy and has additional training in rehabilitation of the upper extremity, myofascial release, ergonomics, and Graston technique.
