Med/Surg Nursing

The CRHC Med/Surg Nursing Department is made up of many dedicated staff members. Our well-trained nursing staff is ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient nursing care.

We care for many different patients- those who have an acute illness, are recovering from surgery, are in need of skilled nursing care to prepare them for returning home, or those needing help with maintaining comfort at the end of their life. We care for patients of all ages; from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Our Med/Surg Nursing staff includes Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse’s Aids. The entire team maintains certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), and the RNs are certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), as well as PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). Nurses who also work in the ER are certified in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation).

Our goal is to help you regain your health and be able to return to your home. But we can’t do this alone. We work closely with Social Services, Utilization Review, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Wound Care, Dietitians, Pharmacy, and Home Health/Community Health Providers to ensure that your health needs are met while in our care and as you transition back into the community. We want to partner with you so that we best understand how to provide specialized care for you to meet your goals.

We are continuously striving to provide an excellent experience for you. We measure your satisfaction with your experience using a Healthstream Patient Satisfaction Survey. We are so proud that you have given us the top rating more than 75% of the time in regards to your experience with our care.

While we hope that you are able to stay healthy and happy, please know that we are always here for you. It is our pleasure and purpose to help.
