(Clarinda, Iowa): CRHC is proud to announce wellness lab draws will be offered this fall. The 2017 Fall Lab Draws will be held Tuesday, October 10th and Thursday, October 12th at Clarinda Regional Health Center in Conference Rooms A & B.
CRHC Employee Health and Wellness Coordinator Wanda Isaacson, RN says, “With the array of health insurance plans, we have found that many of our patients have high-deductible HSA plans and, therefore, the cost of blood screenings are usually paid for by the patient and not their insurance policy.” Isaacson goes on to explain, “The wellness screening during our two-day event is priced at just $40, and includes 22 separate blood tests. This is a discount to assist community members in monitoring and promoting engagement in their own health improvement efforts."
In addition to the general wellness screening, Isaacson says, “Male patients can take advantage of a $20 prostate screening.” Isaacson also adds, “Hemoglobin A1Diabetic testing is priced at $20, Vitamin D 25 OH screenings will be done for $25, and Colorectal Cancer Screening kits are priced at only $5.” The lab draws will be held between 6:00-9:00 a.m. on both Tuesday, October 10th and Thursday, October 12th. For the most accurate test results, patients are requested to fast for 10-12 hours prior to the time lab draws are conducted.
