Four members of the Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) Board of Trustees were recognized Tuesday night for being certified hospital board members by the Iowa Hospital Association (IHA).

CRHC CEO Chuck Nordyke made the award presentation to Ron Richardson, Rob Marsh, Dale Fulk and Bryan Whipp at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees.  Nordyke says, “Our Board continues to work hard at gaining the knowledge needed to guide the vision of CRHC.”  He adds, “The IHA certification program provides educational guidance to ensure excellence, innovation and accountability in health care governance.”

Nordyke went on to praise the Board on this accomplishment. “I think it’s important to remember that our Board of Directors serve in a non-paid position.  All of them are busy and successful individuals in our community. Their commitment to serving the community in this role is a great match for our organization’s push to Advance Exceptional Care in our communities.”

The IHA requires each trustee completes a total of 12 hours of continuing board education every two years.
