Clarinda, IA | (January 14, 2019) — The Clarinda Medical Foundation (CMF) Board of Directors voted to donate $26,400 to the remodeling and expansion project at the Villisca Family Health Center at their regular meeting on Thursday, January 10th. The donation was approved following discussion of how CMF could take the lead in the already established $22 for 22-year campaign that kicked off over the holidays.
CMF Board President Melissa Garner says, “Our group is excited to support the expansion efforts for the Villisca Clinic. The clinic, which has now been in operation for 22 years at its current location, has done a terrific job of serving the health needs of Villisca and the surrounding communities.” She adds, “Our Foundation mission is to support the charitable, scientific and education objective of the Clarinda Regional Health Center. The Villisca Family Health Center is an integral part of CRHC and has shown consistent growth.” The CMF President concludes, “We unanimously voted to contribute $2,200 per month for one year for this fabulous project.”
Currently employees and the community are being asked to contribute $22 for 22 years of service. Donations can be made directly to the Foundation page on the Clarinda Regional Health Center website, https://clarindahealth.com/villisca-family-health-center-remodeling-project/ Donors have the option to make a one-time $22 contribution or they can choose three or six month commitments, along with any other larger amounts.
