Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) CEO Chuck Nordyke has announced Maggie Brown has been selected as the Director of Human Resources and Regulatory Affairs.
Nordyke says Brown was selected after an exhaustive search to fill this new role for the organization. He says, “Combining Human Resource and Regulatory Affairs duties hasn’t been common in this part of the country, but it makes a great deal of sense for CRHC.” The CRHC CEO adds, “Maggie is a perfect fit for directing this initiative.”
Brown has been employed at CRHC since 1993 when she was working part-time as a nurse aid while attending LPN school at Iowa Western Community College. The following year, she was hired as a full-time RN at the hospital. In the last two and half decades she has served CRHC in a variety of roles, including her most recent role as Wound Care Manager.
Brown says, “I’m humbled by this new opportunity and look forward to use my patient care experience to add value to this new role.” She goes on to say, “I’m so proud to be working as a team with a shared vision for advancing exceptional care to our community as we partner with our local resources.”
Brown, a New Market native, lives in Clarinda with her husband Mark. The couple has three children and two grandchildren. In her leisure time, Brown enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
