Ambulance Report Delivered to CRHC Board of Trustees

Clarinda, IA | (May 30, 2018) – Page County Attorney Carl Sonksen has declined to prosecute any individual for tampering with an ambulance owned by the Clarinda Regional Health Center.  In a letter delivered to the CRHC Board of Trustees at their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 29thSonksen based his decision on a recently completed investigation by Clarinda Police Chief Keith Brothers.

Chief Brothers completed his investigation in early May and according to Sonksen included interviews with persons previously interviewed during an internal investigation and an investigation led by Scott A. Leighter, the founder and CEO of Division of Professional Services LLC and Doug Griffith an employee of that same firm. At the request of Sonksen, Brothers also interviewed an individual previously not interviewed by investigators.  Brothers concluded there were no witnesses to the tampering that occurred with the ambulance.

Chairman Ron Richardson says, ”We are glad to have resolution to this issue. Our Board can now look forward to both the opportunities and challenges which are ahead of us.”
